Ahoy Matey SP151

This was a great rental, new and very clean. It was right on the water and had great views of the sunrise and wildlife.

The Ahoy Matey was a beautiful, well stocked vacation rental. Great amenities, and what a wonderful view of Aransas Bay! We had a great time with our family and friends there. We will definitely be returning!!!

Walking distance from restaurants and shops. Great view of the water. Very spacious and clean. Recommend and will come back!

Great spot great view great time

The condo was great, very thing was like new. The location is great, Rockport beach is near by, and Port A is less than an hour away as well. The pool was great and was serviced every day we were there. The property rep we worked with (Nina) was awesome and very helpful before during and after the stay.

Overall the rental was good, I would not recommend this rental for anyone with a boat (which we had). Parking it was very tight, but we managed. The rental was clean and it met our needs. The layout was a bit odd with bedrooms separated between floors. The master bedroom was a "hike" to the bathroom! I personally didn't like the design... not for fishermen but more for a family perhaps with a mom who likes the gigantic tub... all it all it was OK. Communication was very good. The location is excellent! Waterfront views and near restaurants.

The location of the home was perfect with beautiful ocean views. It was situated minutes from multiple restaurants and shops with a quick 5 minute drive to the beach.

The home is relatively new construction and still has the new paint and wood smell (not necessarily the homiest smell). The floors also felt like they still had construction dust on them, so we were constantly wiping our feet off. While there were ample rooms and bathrooms, the space felt a little sterile. Even though the description advises that only the bare basics are made available, it would have been nice to have more bathroom towels and the addition of pool/hot tub towels. Other items like throw pillows and blankets on the living room couch and chairs would make the place more cozy. There is no patio furniture on the first floor deck by the hot tub, so we used our pop up beach chairs. These are small things that would go a long way to make guests feel more welcome. Some board games would also be a fun touch.

This place was awesome. Lots of room. close to everything we wanted.
