Coast Oaks Cottage 8

We decided to gift ourselves six nights in Rockport for the New Year. We arrived on December 27th and everything was perfect. The Cottage we stayed in #8, was the old St. Peter's Episcopal Church sanctuary. We attended church in this sanctuary many years ago. The conversion to a cottage was outstanding. The kitchen was amazaing and everything was so clean and neat. We had so much fun and will be back for another stay.

Cabin no. 8 is the main part of a converted historic church.. The combined kitchen/dining/living/bed room is enormous and very charming, with lots of original features. The bathroom is luxurious with separate soaker tub and shower. The place is beautifully decorated with luxury furnishings and a very well-equipped kitchen. Note: it’s an urban area. Though generally a quiet area, a row of street lights shines brightly all night long, directly into the main bedroom.

This was such an amazing stay. Everything is so clean and new. The uniquness of the clouds on the ceiling to the Stallion statue out front added to the special feel of this rental. We walked to the Art fest at the fair grounds, the beach and the restaurants and shops downtown. Also the marina is a 5 minute walk away. If the Pecan lady is open make sure to stop there. I can not say enough good things about this place. I will definately rent here everytime I stay in Rockport. It was perfect.
